The No Doubt College Series - Eastern Michigan University event will feature the latest metrics college coaches and pro scouts use to evaluate players in baseball such as exit velocity, throwing velocity, 60 times, pop times and more. The coaches and scouts at this event will provide these metrics but will also instruct the players on how they can be improved.
Coaches from the following programs are scheduled to be there: Eastern Michigan University, Central Michigan University, University of Dayton, Write State University, Kent State University, Wayne State University, Saginaw Valley State University, Grand Valley State University, Northwood University, Cleary University, Lawrence Tech University, Lansing CC, Alpena CC and more!
What Players Can Expect
1. Post camp profile with metrics
2. Instruction from all coaches attending the event
3. Feedback on Exit Velocity (Hitting), Throwing Velocity (Pitchers and Position Players), 60 Times (Position Players) and Pop Times (Catchers)
4. Opportunities to ask questions about their skills and get to know the college coaches and scouts in attendance
5. Discussion on the NCAA recruiting process, rule and regulations
6. Players will be issued a Number so coaches can identify them throughout the day
General Camp Schedule
The No Doubt College Series - Eastern Michigan University event will be divided into 3 sessions. Session 1 will be for Hitters, Session 2 will be for Infielders and Outfielders and Session 3 will be for pitchers and catchers. You will be able to choose one, two or all three sessions.
9:00 AM – 11:15 AM – Hitting & Offensive Skills Evaluation & Instruction
11:30 AM – 2:15 PM – Infield & Outfield Defensive Evaluations and Instruction
2:30 PM – 5:00 PM - Pitching & Catching Evaluations & Instruction
Evaluations will be provided from the coaches and scouts during and around the instructional and evaluation process. In addition, all participants will receive their metrics once they have been verified by the Coaching Staff. We hope this event promotes a high-level of player-coach interaction, so we encourage each participant to ask specific questions to the college coaches and scouts throughout the day. *All players MUST bring TURFS and CLEATS to the event!
